_This past year, I was on the 2012 varsity girls tennis
team. I played first doubles with my partner Claire. My team and I won
the region tournament and went to individual state where I received an
All State plaque for making it to the Semifinals for girls doubles. The
following week after individual state, we went to team state where we
played DEA for our first match, then later played against Oak Mountain
and won. Claire and I played a hard match and won the first set 6, 4 ,
then we were up 5, 4 , and it was my turn to serve. We played a long
game, then it was Add In for us. I took a deep breath and served the
winning ace that won us the State title!
Below are some images of me with a couple of the tennis awards.

Update for 2013
This past tennis season was tougher, but we did great. We were 8-0 for the region. We had a tough match against Valwood for our region championship. We then went to individual region and m doubles partner and I got 2nd in our region. We went to individual state and made it to the Final Four where we had a long hard match. We then went to Team State and lost in the first round.
This picture is from individual state. The first day was really hard, but we pushed through and made it to the Final Four. We played a long hard match, but unfortunately lost.
Only three girls out of the whole team, including boys, came back to the Final Four. Below is a picture of the three of us.
