Being a Varsity cheerleader this past year has been tons of fun. We began practice before school got out for the summer of 2011, and worked hard to make summer cheer camp at Jekyll a great experience. We did our best at camp to achieve second place that allowed us to be able to go to Disney and perform there at the Capitol One Bowl for New Years Eve. Cheering for the Wildcats has been a great experience for me. I was able to cheer the Wildcats to another region and state football title, and also cheered the girls basketball team all the way to state.

One day during the school year, we had a one day camp that the head coach of the FSU cheerleaders came and taught us a few cheers and a dance. Later on, we were invited to come and watch the FSU cheerleaders cheer at a football game. This is a picture of some of the Westwood cheerleaders with the FSU cheerleaders.

For working hard at camp and coming home with 2nd place, we were able to go to Disney World and perform at the Capitol One Bowl. This is a picture of all of the cheerleaders at Magic Kingdom.
